A fantastic week in the den 🦊

Me, my fiancé and our 3 year old son have just returned from a Mon-Fri stint at the 🦊’s Den.

Can’t speak highly enough of this place. Everything we could have possibly needed was on hand. A well equipped kitchen that we cooked in 3 out of 4 nights. Lidl was literally 5 mins away in the car so we got our food shop from there. 2 twin (single rooms) and a cosy double. Plenty of room for every one.

We walked into Whitby each day using the viaduct and explored Whitby. Amusements, Arnold Palmer crazy golf, ice cream and fish and chips. The perfect British seaside resort. Even the sun shone! We even managed to catch a crab under the viaduct!

We took a 30 minute drive to Peasholm Park which was amazing. Pitch and put, peddle boats and a putting green.

Fantastic trip, fantastic accommodation which is well located to explore the Whitby coast and wider area.

We will be back Easter 2020!

****Foxs Den *******

We have just had the most fantastic stay at the Foxs Den Whitby. it is beautifully designed house with bags of space, very clean and tidy. well maintained. although the weather was icy cold it was warm and cosy. we were able to walk from the house into Whitby which takes about 15 minutes walking briskly. Cant recommend it highly enough. will definitely be back.

Perfect

My wife and I stayed at The Fox's Den from 18th to 21st January and our stay was perfect in everyway!
Firstly the location is spot on, it is literally next to Larpool Viaduct and the Cinder Track, meaning its just a gentle stroll into Whitby, but also with great access to all the other walking trails nearby.
The property itself is immaculate and perfectly equipped for any length of stay. It truly is like having a home from home. There is everything you could possibly need as well as all the mod cons, decent wifi, TV and entertainment if needed. The advice and help guides provided were great too, we used some of the info provided and the reliable taxi service, it wasn't much to get a taxi to town if going out for a meal.
The bedrooms were great, with the double bed we slept in being one of the comfiest ever!
Overall, the Fox's Den had everything we needed, we had a great stay and are already looking to book again so wen can take advantage of the balcony and lovely garden!
Thanks for sharing your lovely cottage with us, we will be back!

Fantastic home

Found cottage to be very well appointed, exceptionally clean and fully equipped with everything you require.

Beds very comfy, lovely bathroom.

A real home from home.

Great peaceful location to relax and chill out and only 5 mins drive into Whitby.

Highly recommend this place to stay.

We will certainly be making a return visit.

We stayed here last weekend. What a lovely place. The house is spacious and would easily accommodate 6 . It is superbly equipped with all mod cons . Lovely patio at the rear and a further patio for the master bedroom. The location is ideal being a 20 minute walk into Whitby or a 5 minute drive however the walk is well worth doing going over the viaduct. The nice touches such as a goody bag with toiletries speciality teas and coffees and even treats for the dog ( place is dog friendly) really added that little bit extra. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to spend a few days in Whitby in a peaceful location but near enough to pubs restaurants and shops.

Fantastic Place

As you drive upto this property it is down a little road and gives you a little anticipation of what’s to come. When you arrive there is plenary of parking space in the middle of a semi circle of properties. There is a welcome pack with fizz and the basics such as tea, coffee, milk etc.

In the living room is a large tv, dvd, stereo etc and plenty to do on rainiy day’s (games, dvds)

The house looks normal size from the outside but once in is much larger with Three bedrooms with sleeps 6 plus a cot for under 2s. Decor is upmarket and Linen top grade with soft towels.

Plenty of outdoor space to the front and rear and even a decking off the main bedroom.

This property is 15 mins walk from the centre and 3 minutes by car.

Would I stay here again? Defiantly
